Today's class continues exploring hip mobility with a focus on hip flexion and it's relationship with the pelvis and lumbar spine. Be prepared to experience all the different tissue strength and length needed to have good hip flexion control and of course, some concepts and exercises from previous classes like rolling and lumbar flexion is thrown in for good measure!
This class explores the mobility of the upper body and the relationships of the Thoracic spine, Scapula and Shoulder joint with movement. In particular we strengthen the awareness and control of the scapula as it relates to thoracic flexion and extension as well as shoulder flexion and extension. Class ends with a rolling like a ball, mini boomerang combo.
This video explores trying to have ultimate spine control, particularly through the lumbar with mobility exercises and specific cueing through Pilates exercises. This is especially crucial for spine flexion based movements like rollups, rollovers and rolling like a ball. Class concludes with a Pilates Mat Classic, rolling like a ball.
